Build your future with a growing steel fabrication team shaping critical projects across the power generation, energy infrastructure, and data center markets. In this Steel Fabrication Estimator opportunity, you’ll support skid operations in Rhome, TX while helping prepare estimates for a dedicated facility serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Fabrication Estimator position include:
- 3-4+ years of estimating experience.
- Review client-provided drawings, blueprints, and project packages.
- Perform pricing take-offs for skid operations projects.
- Prepare estimates based on fabrication scope, materials, labor, processing needs, coatings, welding requirements, and shop capabilities.
- Evaluate welding, fabrication, paint/coatings, and processing requirements.
- Consider fabrication equipment capabilities and production limitations when preparing estimates.
- Present completed estimates to ownership for review before bids are submitted to clients.
- Proficiency with Excel and Autodesk software.
Salary: $80,000-$105,000 base salary; no commission/bonus to start, with potential to re-evaluate as the new division grows.
