Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAM Applications Engineer position include:

  • Relevant experience in CAM programming, CAD/CAM applications, manufacturing engineering, or technical support for engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of CAM workflows, tooling, machines, setups, fixturing/workholding, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with one or more major CAM systems such as Mastercam (top priority), Siemens NX, Autodesk Fusion, GibbsCAM, SolidCAM, or Creo.
  • Act as the first technical point of contact for new CAM Assist customers after purchase.
  • Own onboarding from kickoff through initial activation and first successful usage, aiming for customers to reach value in one to two meaningful touchpoints.
  • Configure and onboard customer tool libraries, machines, post-related requirements, and other setup prerequisites.
  • Lead onboarding calls and training sessions, guiding customers through installation, setup, and early workflow adoption.
  • Troubleshoot installation/configuration/product usage issues, reproduce and triage bugs, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
