Step into a fast-moving, employee-owned demolition and environmental team working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects across North Branch, NJ and the surrounding region. Demolition Estimator is a great opportunity to help shape competitive bids—from plan review to final pricing—while collaborating closely with operations and field teams to deliver safe, practical demolition execution.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Demolition Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of demolition estimating experience on large-scale commercial and industrial projects
- Review project plans, specifications, environmental reports, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for structural demolition, selective demolition, earthwork, hauling, and disposal
- Develop cost estimates covering labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, trucking, and disposal fees
- Identify and price project risks including environmental hazards, utilities, structural stability, and site access constraints
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing to ensure scope coverage and cost competitiveness
- Assist with demolition sequencing and methodology in collaboration with operations and field supervision
- Coordinate and incorporate hazardous material, asbestos, and environmental mitigation requirements into estimates
Salary: 85,000- 95,000 per year, discretionary bonus, commensurate with experience.
