Description
Structural Engineer opportunity available on-site in Frederick, MD with a fast-growing homebuilding organization building out its Architectural Services engineering team. This role offers meaningful collaboration, strong mentorship with promotion-from-within culture, and the chance to develop and seal residential structural design documents that directly support real-world construction.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:
- 6+ years in engineering preferred
- Active Professional Engineering (PE) license (in any state); PE required
- Residential structural design experience (wood design preferred; IRC codes a plus)
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Experience with structural design and load development (gravity and lateral load design)
- Develop and review structural engineering documentation for code compliance; seal/approve as required
- Maintain assigned project schedule and record accurate hours
- Collaborate closely with architects and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
