Join a family-owned commercial service company that has built a strong reputation for reliable HVAC/R support across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This HVAC/Refrigeration Technician opportunity is based in Carrollton, TX, with technicians dispatched directly from home, offering independent field work, flexible culture, consistent service demand, and excellent overtime earning potential supporting established commercial customers, including convenience store locations.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC/Refrigeration Technician position include:
- Commercial HVAC/R repair experience required
- Experience repairing refrigeration systems and ice machines required
- EPA Universal 608 Certification required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide job updates, photos, and service notes
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machine equipment
- Travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to perform commercial service and repair work
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call service rotations as needed
Salary: $35/hr - $55/hr, plus overtime at time and a half for after-hours and weekend work. Gas and travel time are paid.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including paid gas and travel time, flexible scheduling, home dispatch, tool support as needed, strong overtime opportunities, and the ability to request unpaid time off. This is a 1099 contractor position and does not offer traditional employee benefits.
