Installation Department Leader / Residential HVAC opportunity in Traverse City, Michigan! Join a locally owned, family-run home services company known for decades of trusted plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical service, specializing in high-end custom residential homes where quality, craftsmanship, and customer care come first. This is an exciting leadership role for a hands-on residential HVAC professional who thrives on managing complex large-home installations and guiding skilled field teams.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Installation Department Leader / Residential HVAC position include:
- 10+ years of residential HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience required
- High-end custom residential home experience required, including large homes with complex systems
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Oversee installation department operations for a team of 7 people
- Manage roughly 8 active jobs per day while supporting coordination, troubleshooting, and quality expectations
- Familiarity with HVAC and boiler work in custom home environments
- Experience working with systems such as Trane, Carrier, Mitsubishi, and Fujitsu
- Use ServiceTitan for job and operational tracking; must pass a background check, drug screen, and have 3 years of clean driving record
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
