Join a globally recognized medical device manufacturer as a Senior Director of Engineering in Plano, TX. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead multi-site engineering strategy for a organization specializing in medical devices, with a strong global presence, advanced manufacturing operations, and a mission-driven culture focused on improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Director of Engineering position include:
- Provide strategic leadership for global engineering and advanced manufacturing functions across multiple sites.
- Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams of 20+ engineers and technical professionals.
- Drive process optimization, automation, cost-reduction, continuous improvement, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and executive leadership to align engineering strategy with corporate goals.
- Ensure engineering programs comply with FDA, ISO, and global regulatory standards.
- Oversee complex engineering projects, capital investments, infrastructure planning, and manufacturing technology roadmaps.
- Bring 15+ years of progressive advanced manufacturing or engineering leadership experience, including 7+ years in senior management with multi-site oversight.
- Have medical device industry experience and Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
Salary: $230,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
