Join a highly specialized industrial reliability and maintenance firm as an Infrared Thermographer, ideally based in northern IL or eastern IA! This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely from home while traveling across a large U.S. service footprint, supporting major agricultural, grain, and processing facilities with advanced predictive maintenance technologies that help prevent costly downtime.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Infrared Thermographer position include:
- Level II Infrared Thermography certification is preferred, though Level I candidates with strong potential may be considered.
- Industrial reliability experience is required, with grain, agricultural, processing, or electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Travel weekly, typically Monday through Thursday, to client sites across multiple states.
- Perform infrared thermography inspections and reliability services at industrial facilities.
- Document findings and submit reports to the office using standard computer tools including Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Work independently from a home-based field role while managing daily assignments and communicating with a manager.
- Support additional predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic inspection, motion amplification, and laser alignment as needed.
- Maintain a professional, safety-focused approach while working with major grain and industrial clients.
Salary: $55,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
