Build your career with an established commercial construction team as a Commercial Construction Estimator in Mechanicsville, VA, where you will help deliver plumbing and HVAC estimates for a wide range of light commercial projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Construction Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of construction industry experience preferred, ideally with plumbing and HVAC estimating knowledge
- Field experience and strong trade knowledge in mechanical and plumbing systems desired
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to perform accurate takeoffs for pipe materials, equipment, and fixtures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain timely quotes and proposals
- Create detailed estimates, scopes, and proposals for projects ranging from approximately $5,000 to $1,000,000
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure complete and accurate estimates
- Use Bluebeam, Excel, and standard estimating tools to track costs, forecast pricing, and prepare bid submissions
- Assist with cost reports, project changes, timeline updates, and proposal delivery within required deadlines
Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
