Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Develop engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for land development, municipal, industrial, and utility infrastructure projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within one year – Lead projects from planning and budgeting through design, permitting, and construction phase services
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in stormwater, water, and/or wastewater engineering – Design and permit private and municipal stormwater management, water supply, and wastewater collection systems
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater codes, regulations, and standards – Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Familiarity with floodplain regulations and flood control practices – Conduct site visits and evaluate existing and as-built conditions
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and water/wastewater engineering software – Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and proposals
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills – Lead project teams to meet technical objectives, schedules, and quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively – Participate in public meetings and support business development efforts

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
