Join a highly respected engineering consulting firm as a Structural Inspector/Inspector Engineer in Chesterfield, Missouri, where you will work on a diverse mix of property condition assessments, reserve studies, structural diagnostics, and construction monitoring projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Inspector/Inspector Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering Technology
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in building-related engineering, structural design, construction management, or diagnostic inspections
- Active PE license in Missouri or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire
- OSHA 10 certification or equivalent required; strong building code knowledge preferred
- Perform field inspections on residential, commercial, high-rise, and low-rise buildings
- Write, review, and evaluate inspection reports for quality, clarity, and timeliness
- Manage project objectives, schedules, budgets, and client communications throughout execution
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical lead for services as directed by the Chief Engineer
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
