One of Southern California’s largest and fastest-growing commercial plumbing contractors is seeking a Vice President of Construction (Plumbing) in Covina, CA to lead a high-performing Tenant Improvement division. This is a rare executive opportunity to take full ownership of a major commercial contracts division, oversee P&L, lead project and field operations, and drive growth for a company with more than 30 years of success and a dominant presence in the greater Los Angeles market.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Vice President of Construction (Plumbing) position include:
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction or subcontracting, with MEP or plumbing experience preferred.
• Proven experience owning P&L responsibility in a $10M-$50M project-based business.
• Manage 5-6 Project Managers along with field operations and customer management.
• Lead the commercial contracts division with full operational and financial accountability.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and at target margins.
• Drive job costing, scheduling, forecasting, margin management, and operational discipline.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors.
• Oversee contract execution, change orders, and risk management for commercial plumbing and tenant improvement projects.
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
