We are seeking a Traveling Field Service Engineer based in or near Lawrenceville, GA, to join a passionate team of professionals pushing the boundaries of automation and industrial solutions. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traveling Field Service Engineer position include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with automation and control systems, preferably in industrial environments.
- Hands-on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of machines, especially involving PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and control systems.
- Strong experience with Siemens (TIA Portal, S7, Protool, WinCC), Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, SLC 500, PLC 5, Studio 5000), and other platforms such as Omron and Yaskawa.
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting electrical drawings and P&ID schematics.
- Willingness to travel globally and work independently, including extended service trips (1-4 weeks).
- Experience working in manufacturing environments, ideally plastic extrusion or cleanroom settings.
- Ability to provide remote support, develop service documentation, and contribute to customer service improvements from the home office.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Active passport or ability to acquire one quickly.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
