Description
Build exceptional homes in the heart of Sonoma County as a Superintendent in Rohnert Park, California, where you will lead high-end semi-custom single-family residential projects for a family-owned builder with more than 30 years of success, a strong local reputation, and an exciting pipeline of future development work. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Superintendent position include:
- 7+ years of superintendent on ground-up residential new construction, with semi-custom or custom single-family home experience preferred, project manager experience a plus.
- Manage multiple single-family home projects from site preparation through final walk, close-out, and certificate of occupancy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability, professionalism, and strong communication with the Developer and project stakeholders.
- Build, maintain, and manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, inspections, safety compliance, change orders, and quality control across active projects.
- North Bay or Sonoma County subcontractor relationships and knowledge of local permitting, codes, and regional construction practices preferred.
- Support pre-construction planning, value engineering, plan review, bid solicitation, permit coordination, and future development efforts.
- Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software; Mark Systems (ECI) experience is preferred, with OSHA 30 and ICC certifications also preferred.
- Lead buyer-facing walks, warranty coordination, material procurement, document management, and weekly reporting while maintaining organized, efficient job sites.
Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, PTO, a company phone, and either a company vehicle or vehicle allowance plus gas card, along with a per-home completion bonus tied to schedule and margin targets.
