In this Sr. Mechanical Engineer opportunity, you’ll help design and implement factory-built mechanical systems in Bossier City, LA (near Shreveport) within a fast-paced, flat organization that values technical leadership and collaboration.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 6-10 years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial product development; modular/data center/utility experience strongly preferred.
- Proven capability in HVAC, piping/fluid systems, sheet metal/weldments, dynamic analysis, material selection, and controls integration.
- Hands-on experience with validation testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and field support; familiarity with FEA/CFD workflows and test correlation.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes/standards (ASHRAE, AMCA, ASME, ASTM, AWS; and customer or AHJ specifications).
- Lead mechanical design for modular products, including HVAC architecture, airflow/thermal design, ducting, coil selection, and control sequences.
- Engineer piping and fluid systems (P&IDs/isometrics, line sizing, pump calculations, valves/accessories, supports/insulation).
- Perform or direct dynamic/mechanical analyses and review/approve FEA/CFD studies with validation and correlation.
- Plan and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning procedures; support start-up and performance validation at customer sites as needed.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: MDV, 401k with 50% match up to 6%, life and disability coverage, PTO - 2 weeks (negotiable), and bonus - up to 10% based on both individual and company.
