Based in Bossier City, LA (near Shreveport), this Sr. Electrical Engineer opportunity lets you lead electrical system design across power distribution, special systems integration, and manufacturing-ready documentation.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Electrical Engineer position include:
- 6-10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in modular, industrial, utility, or data center environments.
- Perform and review electrical load calculations, feeder and branch circuit sizing, voltage drop analysis, and conduit/cable routing design.
- Develop and review electrical documentation including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination details.
- Select and specify electrical equipment such as switchgear, panelboards, transformers, breakers, UPS systems, sensors, and control devices.
- Design and integrate special systems including fire detection, gas detection, ventilation controls, and communication systems.
- Ensure designs meet NEC/NFPA codes, customer specifications, and internal standards.
- Support manufacturing teams with wiring, routing, troubleshooting, and factory testing activities.
- Lead design reviews, hazard assessments, and manufacturability evaluations; mentor junior engineers.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
