Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Technician position include:
- Minimum 3–5 years of residential HVAC service experience, with the ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete service calls from day one.
- EPA certification required; sheet metal certification preferred.
- Strong experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing residential propane, oil, and electric heating and cooling systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC electrical components, mechanical systems, controls, and diagnostic procedures.
- Plumbing experience preferred, with a willingness to learn additional mechanical service skills.
- Perform residential HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient system operation.
- Manage service calls independently throughout a 22-mile service area, providing professional customer service and resolving equipment issues efficiently.
- Participate in weekend emergency service coverage as needed based on location, with opportunities for overtime.
Salary: $40 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience.
