Exciting opportunity for a Senior Plumbing Estimator in Pineville, NC with a well-established mid-size commercial mechanical contractor known for tackling complex, high-profile projects across the Carolinas and beyond. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Plumbing Estimator position include:
- Commercial/industrial plumbing estimating experience with strong knowledge of piping systems and pipe design
- Proficiency with FastEST software programs (FastEST, FastPIPE, FastDUCT), including take-offs, pricing updates, and compiling estimates
- Perform detailed take-offs from commercial drawings to determine material, equipment, and labor quantities
- Prepare complete estimates from take-offs and produce budget numbers within hours and within a 10% margin
- Operate bid source platforms such as Building Connected and PlanHub, including bid logs and invitations to bid
- Coordinate weekly bid meetings and collaborate with internal teams on scope letters and pricing
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, GCs, and CMs to obtain quotes and build long-term relationships
- Participate in turnover meetings with Project Managers after award, covering scope, manpower, materials, and changes
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
