We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Grand Haven, MI to take the lead in producing detailed, competitive bids for complex commercial and industrial electrical projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrical Estimator position include:
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction or electrical trade market
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals based on project plans and specifications
- Analyze and evaluate cost-effective methods, materials, and project timelines
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring accurate pricing and scope alignment
- Lead value engineering efforts and risk assessments for large-scale electrical projects
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
- Maintain a current database of pricing, labor rates, and historical project data
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
