Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Service Plumber position include:
- Minimum 4+ years of service plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial settings
- Journeyman License is a plus and will result in higher pay
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required
- Must be mechanically inclined, service-driven, and possess strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using mobile service-based apps and communicating professionally
- Must provide own basic plumbing tools (specialty tools and equipment provided)
- Daily plumbing tasks include drain cleaning, leak repairs, water heater installation, fixture replacement, pump repairs, repiping, and more
- Handle 4–6 calls per day throughout the Chicagoland area from a home-dispatched, company-issued vehicle
- Must be able to pass a background check (theft is a dealbreaker) and work one weekend a month on-call
Salary: $175 - $200 per day to start, once you have your own truck and have been trained, $30 per hour is the minimum, plus overtime at time and a half over 40 hours.
