Bring your aerospace inspection expertise to a fully onsite role in Dallas, TX where high-precision, build-to-print CNC work directly impacts real customer deliverables. In this Quality Control Inspector opportunity, you’ll help ensure tight-tolerance airframe components meet dimensional and AS9100 requirements while contributing clear documentation and quality communication throughout the process.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Control Inspector position include:
- Minimum 2 years of prior aerospace QA experience.
- Inspect structural aerospace components at required stages and verify dimensional and quality requirements.
- Read engineering blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) during inspection.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using structural-part dimensional inspection techniques, with strong familiarity of machining practices and equipment capabilities.
- Prepare, complete, and present First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation in an AS9100 format for customer submission.
- Support nonconformance review, root cause investigations, and corrective action reports.
- Initiate and support processes that collect manufacturing data, collate, analyze, and present quality information.
- Communicate findings professionally with customer quality representatives and internal production teams within an AS9100-approved quality system.
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
