Build your future with a tech-forward AEC division launching inside an established real estate and service organization, with the flexibility of a remote role based in New York, NY. This Project Manager / Cost Manager opportunity blends hands-on estimating and cost management with project leadership, supporting developer clients on multifamily work and beyond.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project/Cost Manager position include:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, cost management, estimating, preconstruction, or related fields.
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction cost estimates; perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses.
- Evaluate customer drawings and make informed decisions during the design phase.
- Develop bid packages, bid leveling analyses, and subcontractor comparisons; support budgeting, value engineering, procurement, and preconstruction planning.
- Manage project administration, including change orders, document control, closeout documentation, and project reporting.
- Coordinate with an offshore support team to delegate and review estimating and project deliverables, while serving as the primary client-facing technical expert.
- Review completed work for quality, accuracy, and completeness before client delivery.
- Use industry-standard tools (including Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel) and embrace AI/technology to streamline workflows and help build best practices as the division grows.
Salary: Up to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
