Bring your hands-on polymer coating expertise to a fast-moving, mission-driven medical manufacturing environment in Wilmington, MA. This Polymer Coating Technician/Engineer opportunity offers the chance to support and help launch a new medical-device polymer coating program in an environmentally controlled setting.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Polymer Coating Technician/Engineer position include:
• 3-5 years targeted experience in polymer coating (entry-level polymer engineers with a hands-on mindset may be considered)
• Dip coating/dip casting experience using polyurethane solutions
• Solvent-based coating experience; DMAC or THF experience is beneficial
• Medical device experience preferred but not required
• Ability to support ISO 13485/GMP documentation (training can be provided)
• Work in an environmentally controlled manufacturing setting; cleanroom experience not required
• Collaborate closely with leadership and help establish and scale a new coating program
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Company pays 60% of medical and 80% of dental; 401(k), sick time, paid vacation, and family plans.
