Bring your commercial HVAC estimating expertise to Miami with a team that values autonomy, flexibility, and long-term project success. Chief Mechanical Estimator / Mechanical Estimator - Commercial HVAC is a leadership-level role supporting a steady pipeline of plan/spec work across South Florida and reporting to the VP of Construction.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience with commercial HVAC
- Must have chilled water, DX, and VRF estimating experience
- Prepare mechanical/HVAC estimates and proposals for commercial projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and support plan/spec estimating
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the estimating process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, mechanical vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Lead the estimating function and provide guidance to 2-3 support estimators as needed
- Attend occasional local jobsite or pre-bid meetings as needed
Salary: $100K-$125K, negotiable per year, commensurate with experience.
