Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mazak 5-Axis CNC Programmer – Medical Device position include:
- Expert-level experience with Mazatrol and/or Mastercam programming software
- Minimum 3 years of 5-axis CNC programming on Mazak machines
- Proven CNC machining skills, including multi-machine operation (Mazak lathes/mills or Star Swiss-style lathes)
- Ability to program, set up, and run CNC machines independently
- Mentor and guide Class 1 machinists and machining assistants
- Perform first article inspections and monitor machining processes for precision and quality
- Interpret detailed blueprints, optimize tool paths, and work with materials like aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics
- Maintain quality standards using inspection tools and ensure smooth shop floor workflow
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
