Build your future with a close-knit surveying team in Ventura, CA, delivering a wide range of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and map review work for residential, commercial, and municipal clients. In this Licensed Land Surveyor opportunity, you’ll bring technical leadership, sign off on deliverables, and help teams and stakeholders move projects forward with confidence.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Licensed Land Surveyor position include:
- California Professional Land Surveyor license required; newly licensed candidates are acceptable
- Sign off on completed land survey maps and exhibits
- Review and prepare legal descriptions, plats, easements, right-of-way documents, and related acquisition/vacation work
- Support title/legal/city work, including defective title review, deed reformation, and expert witness/technical support
- Prepare and review topographic survey mapping, including boundary, corner records, records of survey, and design survey work
- Review lot line adjustment and lot merger documents, including subdivision and parcel map work
- Provide guidance and technical mentorship to surveying staff
- Ensure accuracy and quality of survey data, maps, exhibits, and deliverables
Salary: $50-$65/hour
Benefits: 401(k) match up to 6%, full employee health coverage, dependent coverage available at cost, dental/vision available, paid holidays, and 80 hours PTO.
