Description
Bring your hands-on engineering skills to a manufacturing environment where quality, reliability, and continuous improvement directly impact real parts on the production floor. In this Product Engineer opportunity, you’ll support remanufacturing and process testing work for automotive alternators and starters while helping drive root-cause corrective actions and design improvements in Oklahoma City.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Product Engineer position include:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a stable employment history required
- Electrical engineering, hands-on troubleshooting, or QC auditing background
- Maintain product data, BOMs, product requirements, Production Work Orders, work instructions, technical specifications, images, and procedures
- Perform component testing, support quality inspections, and collect improvement data
- Conduct root-cause corrective actions and recommend design changes
- Troubleshoot machinery on the production floor, disassemble equipment, identify issues, and complete repairs
- Proficient with CAD/SolidWorks, production software, Microsoft Office, word-processing, and database applications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EPA/OSHA safety standards; Lean Six Sigma experience or education preferred
Salary: $70,000 - $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
