Description

Are you an experienced Engineer looking to lead exciting, high-impact forensic and remediation projects? As a Lead Forensic Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that tackles complex residential and commercial challenges across Colorado and beyond—all while enjoying a flexible hybrid/remote schedule and a collaborative, supportive culture with no micromanagement.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Forensic Engineer position include:

  • Professional Licensure (PE, SE, or RA) in Colorado and/or other states required
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (Master’s preferred)
  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience in design, drafting, consultation, and/or forensic investigation of buildings and grounds
  • Proficiency in structural software (RISA/Enercalc), AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and PDF editing tools
  • Lead and mentor a team investigating structural damage and designing repairs or providing expert reports
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects including schedule and client coordination
  • Perform structural calculations, detailing, and drafting for new and existing construction
  • Conduct site visits, climb ladders, and access confined areas as needed for forensic inspections

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
