Description
Step into an impactful role supporting essential safety and infrastructure at a historic San Francisco event center, where your hands-on expertise directly keeps facilities running smoothly. As the Facilities Manager, you’ll help plan and execute construction and repairs, coordinate safety and security efforts, and ensure day-to-day maintenance is handled with care and urgency.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Facilities Manager position include:
- Minimum of five years of direct experience in facilities management, preferably in a non-profit organization or a school.
- Coordinate construction and repairs in coordination with Management Administration and the Finance Council.
- Serve as a liaison to Management Administration for Buildings and Grounds/Facilities.
- Manage safety and security needs, including insurance claims coordination and participation in inspections.
- Prepare, process, and approve facility-related billing and analyze costs to prevent overspending.
- Oversee project budgets and recommend long-range maintenance plans based on research and testing.
- Complete minor and routine repairs involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting, and respond to maintenance requests through completion.
- Ensure alarm systems operate properly, unlock/secure facilities as needed, and maintain inventories of tools and supplies for in-house repairs.
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
