Bring your hands-on troubleshooting skills to a precision manufacturing environment where building systems, electroforming/plating support, and practical fabrication all matter. In this Facility and Maintenance Technician opportunity in Brookfield, Connecticut, you’ll help keep the plant running reliably while taking ownership of fixes and improvements that protect production and quality.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Facilities & Maintenance Technician position include:
- Broad facilities and industrial maintenance experience, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as day-one priorities.
- Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, compressed-air, HVAC, ventilation, lighting, door, and other building systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems operating at up to 208V.
- Support electroforming and plating equipment, including tanks, pumps, filters, heaters, rectifiers, power supplies, ventilation, and fluid-handling systems.
- Design and fabricate custom fixtures, tooling, carts, racks, benches, guarding, and production-support equipment.
- Use TIG welding, plastic welding, brazing, and general fabrication methods as appropriate.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and coolant systems, and address developing issues before they interrupt production.
- Document completed work and help create practical preventive-maintenance schedules and procedures; learn to operate CNC equipment and assist with scheduled production jobs when needed.
Salary: $28.00-$35/hour plus time and a half over 40 hours.
