Bring your drafting expertise to a thriving modular building environment in Wingdale, NY, where factory-built quality meets real-world construction impact. In this Experienced Draftsperson opportunity, you’ll customize blueprints and help shape the plans that move from design to production for residential modular homes and select commercial projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Experienced Draftsperson position include:
- 2+ years of drafting experience, ideally in residential construction (commercial drafting experience considered)
- Customize blueprints and produce drafting plans for modular building models
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Revise plans based on project and builder requirements
- Coordinate with builders, engineering, and production personnel
- Support the transition of drawings into the manufacturing process
- Help ensure plans meet project specifications and applicable building-code requirements (construction-code knowledge helpful)
- Maintain organized project files and documentation using Microsoft Office
Salary: $20-$40 per hour, based on experience.
