Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator (CCTV, Data Cabling, Access Control & Alarms) position include:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial projects, specifically CCTV, data cabling, and system integration; develop accurate project bids and cost estimates
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) and knowledge of NEC codes; interpret designs and ensure code-compliant estimates
- Experience using ConstructConnect or similar bidding platforms; source and manage bid opportunities
- Ability to estimate both public and private sector projects; prepare detailed BOMs, labor, and pricing sheets
- Strong understanding of integration (not just take-offs); collaborate with teams to ensure accurate project scope and execution
- Experience with access control and alarm systems is a plus; contribute to diversified security system estimates
- Strong communication and organizational skills; manage client interactions, proposals, and follow-ups
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment; track bids, maintain documentation, and support project handoff
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
