Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Landscape Technical Design position include:
- Ability to work remotely
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Lumion, and CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight, Vectorworks, or equivalent)
- Develop, evolve, and maintain all 2D construction plan templates and drafting standards
- Deep construction knowledge across hardscape, landscape, pool design, lighting, utilities, and more
- Lead, train, and mentor a growing drafting team with SOPs, workshops, and technical coaching
- Oversee and quality control all plan sets to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Collaborate with designers to align 3D and 2D plans for full technical integrity
- Interact with contractors to gather feedback and tailor plans to field needs
- Build systems that scale and eliminate recurring quality control issues
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
