Build your future with a mission-driven construction team working on large-scale, transformational multifamily and adaptive reuse projects across the Boston area. This Director of Construction opportunity offers a blend of field leadership and office-based strategy, with regular travel to active project sites and a chance to help scale core construction systems and long-term execution capabilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Construction position include:
- 7–15+ years in construction management, project management, or field leadership, with large-scale multifamily, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, historic rehabilitation, or complex renovation experience required
- 100,000+ SF project experience strongly preferred, including historic tax credits, existing-building conversions, and construction division scaling
- Lead preconstruction and project execution while building and strengthening construction systems, team, and project controls
- Support and scale estimating function and subcontractor network to drive successful outcomes
- Work with long-term operating platform and help execute transformational project delivery
- Experience using tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Google Workspace, and Procore, Autodesk Build, Buildertrend, or similar platforms preferred
- OSHA 30 and unrestricted Massachusetts CSL strongly preferred
Salary: $150,000 - $225,000 per year, based on experience, credentials, licenses, and track record; performance bonus.
