Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Utilities Estimator position include:
- Analyze plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents to develop accurate estimates
- Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for wet utility systems including wastewater and stormwater
- Communicate with general contractors to clarify scope, assumptions, and project details
- Identify design issues, submit RFIs, and ensure constructability of proposed work
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and compliance
- Manage bid schedules, proposal submissions, and all required documentation
- Collaborate with leadership on bid strategy, backlog management, and resource planning
- Support project handoff, startup, and ongoing cost tracking with project management teams
Salary: $95,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
