Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Manager position include:
- 5–8 years of project management experience in construction, ideally with steel construction exposure
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, warehouse, or similar building projects
- Associate’s degree or vocational training preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
- Ability to coordinate with internal departments including engineering, drafting, sales, estimating, shipping, and production to keep projects on schedule
- Review purchase orders, contracts, specifications, and project scope to ensure alignment with bids and legal obligations
- Maintain customer communications, track RFIs, update systems and spreadsheets, and support change orders, claims, and back charges
- Comfortable with a flexible mix of office and job site work, including mostly local travel with occasional trips within the region
- Working knowledge of PlanGrid, Google Sheets or Google Workspace, and strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills; exposure to AI tools is a plus
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
