Description
Bring your commercial estimating expertise to a respected team in Plano, TX, where you’ll help shape high-impact playground and recreational facilities projects. With a relaxed, family-oriented culture and a results-driven environment, this Commercial Estimator opportunity offers room to own the numbers from bid set review through vendor pricing.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Estimator position include:
- 2-5 years of commercial estimating experience (playground experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform takeoffs, read architectural drawings, and interpret construction plan sets
- Proficient sourcing pricing from multiple vendors and manufacturers (a trusted contractor network is a plus)
- Experience with green-space projects, utilities, earthwork, geotechnical reports, grading plans, and cut/fill quantities
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort collaborating with architects, contractors, and customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Support sales and construction teams by reviewing plans and bid sets for public and private bids
- Use AutoCAD and Bluebeam (or equivalent takeoff software) to produce timely, accurate proposals and pricing
Salary: $90K-$120K per year, commensurate with experience.
