Description
A growing precision machining company is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist in Castle Hayne, NC to join a long-established team known for quality, craftsmanship, and reliability. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Mill Machinist position include:
- 3-5 years of CNC milling experience preferred, with candidates who have 2+ years of strong machining experience also considered.
- Program, set up, and operate various CNC milling machines while producing precision parts to tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, technical drawings, G-code, and general machining instructions.
- Verify parts meet print specifications using precision measuring instruments and quality control standards.
- Load and accurately indicate parts to fixtures while monitoring tool wear and replacing tools or inserts as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, tool adjustments, and troubleshooting to support production goals.
- Work with advanced CNC equipment including Haas VF, Haas EC, Acer mills, Tsugami, and other precision machining systems.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to work overtime or Saturdays when needed.
Salary: $26 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
