Description
Step into a precision-focused job shop in Southbridge where quality, safety, and craftsmanship drive every part produced. This CNC Machinist opportunity offers the chance to operate manual and automated equipment to create precision parts while staying on a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- Proven experience as a machinist
- Experience operating and/or programming manual, semi-automated, or automated machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes
- Review samples, drawings, blueprints, or instructions to understand job specifications
- Plan machining operations, measure and prepare materials, and set up machines (including batch size, speeds, and feeds)
- Monitor production, adjust settings, inspect finished parts, document approved and defective parts, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
Salary: $24.00 - $30.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
