Description
Bring your CNC expertise to a mission-driven aerospace manufacturing environment in Perris, where precision work on complex 3- and 5-axis components up to 30 feet long makes a real impact. This CNC Machinist opportunity supports advanced machining, custom tooling, and quality-focused production in a state-of-the-art facility built for demanding aerospace and defense requirements.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- Experience setting up and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines and CNC routers.
- Independently set up CNC machines using fixtures, workholding, tooling, tool offsets, and work offsets.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code, with the ability to make program adjustments as needed.
- Familiarity with Haas CNC controls.
- Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls, including Fanuc Series 18i-MB, Fanuc Series 31i-Model A5, Fanuc Series 21i-MB, Fanuc Series 15-M, Fanuc Series 15i, and Fanuc Series 31i-Model B5 Plus.
- Familiarity with ACRAMATIC 950 CNC control with NIT system.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments; troubleshoot machining issues and maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy through tool and work-offset adjustments.
Salary: $32.00- $41.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: 120 hours of PTO after 1 years, paid holidays, group insurance (60 day waiting period)
