Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Senior Project Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s preferred, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 10–15 years of civil engineering experience, including significant project management and team leadership responsibilities.
- Prior experience supervising Project Managers, engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Lead a civil engineering sub department, overseeing staffing, resource planning, performance, mentoring, and team development.
- Manage a portfolio of complex civil/site development projects, ensuring quality, profitability, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Provide advanced technical leadership in civil site development, stormwater design, utility design, grading, permitting, and quality assurance.
- Support business development through client relationship management, proposals, presentations, interviews, and identifying new project opportunities.
- Utilize industry-standard software including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, MS Word and Excel, and Hydroflow or equivalent drainage/hydrology software.
Salary: $125,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
