In this Mechanical Manufacturing Design Engineer role, you’ll own product development from concept through production release and help drive continuous improvement in a family-owned, non-corporate culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Manufacturing Design Engineer position include:
- Product-design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with CREO, including 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Ability to lead a product from initial concept through prototyping, testing, BOM creation, drawings, and production release.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple engineering projects while meeting deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Serve as a product technical expert for production, sales, and service departments.
- Ability to support occasional office visits and field testing; if working remotely, must have a home setup capable of running required engineering software.
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
