In this Automation Engineer opportunity, you’ll help identify and implement automation that improves efficiency, quality, productivity, throughput, and data accuracy—directly supporting profitability across both shop-floor and business functions.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Automation Engineer position include:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in automation, manufacturing engineering, process improvement, business systems, industrial technology, or a related field.
- Assess manufacturing and business workflows to identify, prioritize, and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Evaluate automation opportunities based on ROI, labor savings, quality improvements, risk reduction, and implementation feasibility.
- Develop business cases, recommendations, implementation plans, timelines, budgets, and success metrics for automation projects.
- Analyze production workflows, material movement, quality inspections, maintenance activities, reporting processes, and shop floor data collection opportunities.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions including workflow automation, RPA, digital forms, reporting solutions, and system integrations.
- Improve data flow between ERP, CRM, HRIS, manufacturing systems, and other business applications.
- Lead adoption efforts, including training materials, work instructions, process documentation, and stakeholder communication; measure outcomes and recommend enhancements.
Salary: $95-105k per year
Benefits: Medical plan options with employer contribution (employees may add family coverage and select among plan tiers), dental and vision options including dependent coverage, 401 k with match, paid time off (10 days initially, 15 days in the second year, and 18 days beginning in the third year), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a Christmas bonus based on tenure.
