Bring your field-proven leadership to the Charolette market with a commercial builder focused on quality, safety, and integrity. In this Construction Project Superintendent opportunity, you’ll help drive heavy commercial projects from schedule and logistics through closeout, with a company culture that values true long-term builders.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Superintendent position include:
- 10+ years of field experience on commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to work on projects with little to no other on-site supervision
- Understanding of all disciplines on the project site; ability to fully understand contracts, subcontracts, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, schedules, and local codes
- Ability to assist in preparation of the construction schedule and sequences of work and to review, comment, and edit project schedules
- Schedule, deliver, coordinate logistics, control quality, and determine employee staffing levels for trade employees
- Review plans and specifications for constructability and construction schedules; advise the project team of issues or deficiencies
- Ensure work is installed following the approved contract documents; create punch lists for subcontractors
- Provide oversight of the site safety program, ensuring subcontractors comply with safety codes and regulations and that OSHA guidelines are followed
Salary:$110,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
