Description
Bring your hands-on electronics expertise to a mission-driven aerospace and defense environment in Solon, Ohio, where precision repair and component-level diagnostics keep critical systems mission-ready. In this Electronics Technician Level III opportunity, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and verify aircraft electrical and avionics components using advanced test equipment and independent judgment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electronics Technician Level III position include:
- Successful completion of Electronics Technician Levels I and II, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and train/evaluate Level I and II Electronic Technicians.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; prior or in-house soldering training.
- Component-level troubleshooting, circuit analysis, signal-flow tracing, waveform calculation, soldering/desoldering, calibration, alignment, and mechanical/electrical repair.
- Use complex test instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, logic and spectrum analyzers, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, Huntron, PinPoint, microscopes, multimeters, and computer-controlled test equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, assemble, inspect, and test aircraft electrical, aerospace, and avionics components; analyze malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace parts.
- Follow repair manuals, work-order instructions, customer requirements, and AS9100/AS9110 procedures; document testing and repairs for final inspection and shipping.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, time management, computer familiarity, math aptitude, manual dexterity, color recognition, professionalism, diplomacy, and people management.
Salary: $26.00- $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
