This Controls & Automation Engineer role blends PLC troubleshooting with practical equipment maintenance, commissioning, and electrical work in a team that values broad technical ownership.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls & Automation Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance
- Experience with 480V electrical systems and three-phase power
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
- Hands-on equipment work including wiring, conduit installation, and commissioning support
- Troubleshooting and repair of PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience working with hydraulics
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience; programming is a plus
- Willingness to work approximately 50/50 between controls and hands-on equipment responsibilities, with a focus on repair and troubleshooting
Salary: $90,000 - $98,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
