Build your future with a collaborative engineering team delivering real-world structural solutions across the Metairie, LA area. In this Civil Structural Engineer opportunity, you’ll work on a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional building projects while contributing to safe, efficient designs and practical retrofit and repair improvements.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Structural Engineer position include:
- 3-5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in consulting or construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus; master’s preferred
- Louisiana PE required or ability to obtain
- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional buildings
- Utilize STAAD.Pro or similar structural analysis software to create detailed designs and calculations
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing structures and propose retrofit/repair solutions
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
