Build your future with a fast-growing aerospace-focused steel fabrication operation in the Cleburne, TX area, where custom projects move from released drawings to finished parts on a tight schedule. This Fabrication Shop Manager opportunity blends shop leadership, project execution, and quality accountability as the company scales rapidly and plans a new facility in the coming year.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Fabrication Shop Manager position include:
- 5+ years of steel fabrication industry experience with a strong track record managing fabrication projects end-to-end.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related) strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and run work per spec.
- Experience coordinating materials, production schedules, and shop resources to deliver on time and within cost.
- Comfort overseeing and leading a fabrication team of approximately 10-15 employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications (including aerospace requirements).
- Monitor quality and schedule throughout each project and remove bottlenecks as issues arise.
- CWI is highly preferred, along with strong communication and leadership that fits a young workforce.
Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: No formal medical or retirement benefits currently; one week of PTO annually (negotiable for senior candidates).
