Bring your CAM expertise to a 100% fully remote opportunity where you’ll help customers succeed with advanced CAM programming software while directly influencing future product development as a CAM Programmer. You’ll analyze parts, conduct technical demonstrations, troubleshoot programming issues, develop best practices, create training content, and turn real-world programming insights into actionable feedback for the engineering and product teams.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Fully Remote CAM Programmer position include:
- 5+ years of CAM programming experience with strong Mastercam capability; Mastercam 2025 or newer is preferred.
• Assess parts to determine software suitability and whether a technical demonstration should be conducted.
• Prepare parts for demonstrations using defined workholding strategies and brief demonstration leads on the selected approach.
• Generate and modify toolpaths to evaluate software performance and suitability.
• Support customers with CAM programming issues by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and recommended best practices.
• Communicate insights from reviewed parts and customer experiences to Product Management and Engineering to help guide the product roadmap and future development.
• Mentor and train sales team members while supporting presales demonstration preparation and execution.
• Create tutorials, training materials, and practical guidance content for customers.
• Recommend continuous improvements to the software based on hands-on programming and customer feedback.
Salary: Up to $100,000 per year, based on experience.
