Build your future with a high-volume, production-driven operation in Tampa, FL where hands-on mechanical work directly impacts uptime, safety, and quality. This Maintenance Mechanic opportunity is a close-knit role on a 12-person maintenance team, focused on troubleshooting and keeping production equipment running reliably.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Mechanic position include:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or automated production.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical systems and restore equipment to safe, reliable operation.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control panels and wiring systems; work with 24V-480V electrical systems.
- Remove, replace, and rewire three-phase AC/DC motors to restore and maintain equipment performance.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Support PLC systems and minimize downtime; follow safety procedures including OSHA/LOTO and document work.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
